Review
DVD Cover Gold is a straightforward utility that enables everybody from novices to professionals, to create CD /DVD covers in a few minutes. All that you have to do is choose any of the ready-made built-in templates and apply any photo from your computer. The built-in templates include disc labels, DVD cases, Jewel cases front and back covers. The program allows you to modify the dimensions of the outer and inner diameters of disc, in addition to the outer and inner bleeds of it in millimeters, centimeters or inches. The program provides the ability to make your own templates and save them for future usage.
After choosing a template and applying the photo, you will be able to paste the photo as you wish over the template. You will be able to stretch or skew it according to your preference.
The program has the ability to set the default image folder for each media type, but unfortunately, it does not have the option to save the project for future editing.
The program has many shortages; it does not allow you to add text to your cover or add any ready-made shapes and figures. Another major drawback is that it is not possible to add more than one photo on the same design. |
